Great service, works very well, even with a 20mt extension cable

I bought a Kia EV6 and was using a standard 10a charger which would not charge at 10a, i had to step it down to 8a which took up to 25 hours to charge the car.

I spoke to John at INCHARGEx who let me test out my extension cable with the INCHARGEx charger and it charged at a full 15a consistently in the store, and has been working perfectly at home for a few full charges, even with a 20 meter extension cable (I live in an apartment, there is no power in the garage).

The power extension cable is a Unimig 2.5mm core welding cable rated for 15 amps, and it works perfectly.

As a note, most extension cables will not work as the core diameter is usually 1.5 or 2.0mm which is not enough to carry 15a consistently, you need 2.5mm. If the extension cable does not list the core diameter, it is likely too narrow and won't be suitable.

John was great to deal with, very responsive. Charger arrived very quickly. Loved the Tim Tam in the box just to remind us it was dispatched from Melbourne. Charger is working without issue. Plugs and cable are impressively solid.

Inchargex 32A portable EV charger

We have been using the 32A portable EV charger on our BYD Atto 3 for a few weeks now and it’s absolutely brilliant! Makes charging so much quicker than using the standard 240v charger that came with the car. Definitely recommend this charger, and we love that it has adjustable amperage so depending on our solar input we can adjust the charge rate as necessary.
